TREE CARE TIPS
-
Your tree should be cared for like a bouquet of fresh-cut flowers.
It should be put in water as soon as it is taken home. We suggest
using lukewarm (NOT HOT) water to dissolve any sap that covers the cut
surface of the tree. If the tree is left out of water for an extended
period, we suggest cutting off about 1” of the trunk so that the tree will
be able to absorb the water. If the tree will be left outside for
awhile, we suggest putting in a spot out of the wind and in shade such
as a shed or garage.

It is very important not to let your tree go dry. A fresh cut Christmas
tree can use up to 1 to 1 ½ gallons of water in 24 hours, so check
twice a day.
